The present study examined whether profiles based on competing values of organizations show differences in terms of psychological safety climate and safety behavior using. Latent profile analyses of data from 1,734 workers classified organizational culture profiles into three types: Balanced culture, High Market-Low Clan culture, and High Clan-Low Adhocracy cultxire. Workers in Balanced culture perceived safety climate higher than those in High Market-Low Clan culture and High Clan-Low Adhocracy culture. Also, Workers in High Clan-Low Adhocracy perceived safety climate higher than those in High Market-Low Clan. In terms of safety behavior, workers in Balanced cultural group showed higher safety behavior than the other two groups. These results support the idea that organizational culture may play an important role in workplace safety.
