We are at a point not only to recover individual mental health and social relationships that had been alienated after the social distancing due to COVID-19 but also to prepare a new cultural content and format for Post-COVID-19. Recognizing the usefulness and limitations of existing psychotherapeutic methods, we urgently need to prepare new types of therapeutic methods in case of the recurrence of global epidemics as well as the unclear vision of future life. Thus, instead of the classic face-to-face psychotherapy, new methods of remote religious rituals or cognitive-behavioral therapies should be devised to promote mental health. The platform of the religious communities should be expanded to cyberspace rather than a physical place, and the religious communities should perform mental care by using remote psychological counseling, virtual reality (VR), and self-training applications that are already used in psychotherapy outside of religion. It is the historic time that religions allow the therapeutic platform to shift from ‘place’ to ‘space’ to care for the body and the soul of people.
