This study aimed to validate a psychological model for assessing attitudes toward fine dust-related policies and information, emphasizing citizens' coping behaviors. The SOR framework applied to both offline and online environmental stimuli, influencing intentions and attitudes toward relevant behaviors. The study examined how fine dust risk assessment affected anxiety, anger, and involvement and their impact on attitudes toward prevention policies and app-based information. Findings showed perceived risk increased anxiety, anger, and involvement. Anxiety was positively linked to favorable attitudes, while anger was negatively related to them. These results highlight the importance of higher involvement and anxiety in promoting coping behaviors against fine dust.
