Recently, according to the transition from the conception of ILS focused on the acquisition process to the conception of IPS more focused on the total life cycle system management (TLCAM) of a weapon system, the relationships between the 12 elements of integrated product support (IPS) and product support analysis (PSA) output, logistics product data report (LPDR) have been studied. First, the differences between the previous ILS elements and the new IPS elements were examined. Second, the transition process and characteristics of the analytic tools (LOADERS and KSP) of LSA and PSA, as well as their outputs (LSAR and LPDR), were examined. Using these data, the relationship between the LSA output-ILS 11 elements and PSA output-IPS 12 elements was analyzed. Finally, based on these results, a method that practical working members can employ to develop the IPS 12 elements using the LPDR has been suggested.
