Due to ongoing economic and societal pressures, as well as the complexity of daily life, many individuals in modern society are experiencing stress. Such stress can have an impact on both physical and mental health, leading to an increased risk of illness. herefore, this study aims to contribute to stress management and enhance individual health and quality of life by developing a wearable stress care device utilizing transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) as an effective method for stress relief. As for the research methodology, first, a theoretical review was conducted on stress and tDCS (Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation) technology. Second, product design for a tDCS-based wearable device for stress management was carried out. Third, design and engineering experts were engaged to review and evaluate the product design based on design various, and the final design was selected based on the evaluation results. Fourth, the chosen final design concept was developed into a prototype along with a dedicated app. Fifth, user evaluations were conducted to validate the design and the product. The research results led to the development of the design, taking into consideration the wearing method, fixation, extension, and electrode attachment methods. Among the initial four design concepts proposed, the final design selected through expert evaluation underwent user evaluations with a prototype and a dedicated app. These research findings confirmed the excellence of the design development product, considering factors such as the wearing method, fixation, extension, and electrode attachment methods. As the demand for societal stress care continues to rise in contemporary society, the need for the development of related products is also increasing. Therefore, based on the positively evaluated design development process and outcomes from expert and user assessments of the research results, it is anticipated that the proposed design concepts for form factors and structures, along with the evaluation approach, will guide the conceptual framework and direction of future wearable stress care devices.
