This study aims to reveal a characteristic of motherland on the painting and varnishing crafts with lacquer which was consistently made by Vladimir Ahn(Владимир Ан, 1929-); Koryoin is the name which ethnic Koreans in the post Soviet states. It is special things that Vladimir Ahn who was born in Maritime Province considered the motherland as the Korean Peninsula land of our fathers, and he has been in Uzbekistan. The lack of maternal affection in childhood led him to explore the process of the art world towards his motherland, which is the home country of Vladimir Ahn. The painter who had personally suffered the Deportation of Koreans in the Soviet Union is gentle and affectionate toward the Koryoin who had to endure the hardships and got settled, and Uzbekistan people who received emigrants hospitably. Meanwhile, He got credit for the rebuilding a varnishing crafts with lacquer and miniature; It is ultimately a revival of the minor Koryoin’ art as part of its efforts. Moreover, Connection with motherland(North and South Korea) was intermittently carrying on the native′s subject as his art. This Koryoin painter’s study is significant work to verify the North Korea art’s corner which was unknown and narrow the blind area of Korea fine art’s history.
