연구배경: 21세기의 융복합의 시대에 패션과 예술의 콜라보레이션은 몸을 치장하고 의복을 입는다는 그 이상의 의미를 가지며 우리가 사는 세상의 정치, 사회문화 현상을 반영한다. 특히 패션은 그 시대의 사회문화 현상을 반영한다는 측면에서 시각예술과 밀접한 연관이 있다. 이러한 시각에서 아트 콜라보레이션의 대표 브랜드인 루이뷔통의 사례연구를 중심으로 아트 콜라보레이션을 통한 마케팅적인 의미를 연구·분석하였다.
연구방법: 본 연구는 패션과 예술의 콜라보레이션에 관한 이론적 연구, 루이뷔통 아트 콜라보레이션의 의의 및 사례연구, 루이뷔통 패션하우스의 예술마케팅 의미분석을 중심으로 패션과 예술의 연관성과 예술 마케팅의 중요성을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 패션과 예술의 콜라보레이션에 관한 이론적 연구는 아트 콜라보레이션의 개념과 유형, 패션과 예술의 콜라보레이션의 역사 및 의의 등을 중심으로 연구하였다. 루이뷔통의 아트 콜라보레이션의 의의 및 사례연구에서는 루이뷔통의 역사, 루이뷔통 패션 콜라보레이션의 사례연구를 무라카미 다카시, 야요이 쿠사마, 제프 쿤스, 스테판 스프라우스, 카니예 웨스트 등을 중심으로 연구하였다. 장 노엘 케퍼러의 브랜드 아이덴티티 프리즘 모델과 기호학적 연구를 바탕으로 루이뷔통 패션하우스의 예술 마케팅의 의미 분석을 하였다. 예술, 디자인, 경영학, 기호학 등에 관한 문헌연구와 함께 디자인 사례연구는 최신 웹 사이트의 자료를 중심으로 연구·분석하였다.

The theoretical study on the collaboration of fashion and art has focused on the concept and type of art collaboration, and the history and significance of collaboration of fashion and art. In the significance and case studies of Louis Vuitton's art collaboration, are studied the history of Louis Vuitton and the case studies of Louis Vuitton fashion collaboration with M. Takashi, Y.
