This study used Conjoint Analysis to examine users’ behavior for the case of the introduction of O2O (Online to Offline) Service to the rapidly growing ‘designated driver service’ in Korea. With the growth of the industry, the diversity of customers has broadened in terms of their gender, age and income. Hence, in order to maximize customer satisfaction from the service, it is necessary to analyze the level of service provided and customers’ experience. This study surveyed users’ satisfaction with various hypothetical attributes using multi-variable conjoint analysis assessing the importance of each attribute and its effect on customers’ willingness to pay. In sum, compared to the current service platform, customers were willing to pay an extra 21 percent for O2O-based designated driver service. Besides, the effects of service attributes on customers’ willingness to pay varied significantly with customers’ characteristics. For example, young female customers were inclined to pay more for service reliability. In addition, the importance of each attribute depended on customers’ gender.
