This article is devoted to enlightening of kinship terms, more archaic layers of vocabulary, in the Tungusic Manchurian languages. It is emphasized that the system of kinship terms has a classificatory nature, i.e. the same terms belong to certain groups of persons of various age groups. Peculiarities and differences of kinship tems of the Tungusic Manchurian peoples, consisting of two different stems: vocative and narrative forms, are distinguished. Meanings, ways of word-formation, and phonetic setting of terms of blood and marriage relationships are given. On the base of the Evenk, Even, Neghidal, Oroch, Nanai, and some Turkic and Mongol languages, it is concluded that all main kinship terms are in all the Tungusic Manchurian languages, and are included in their main vocabulary; there are small borrowings from other languages.
