<滿殿春別詞> 제4연의 ‘아련’, 5연의 ‘南山’?‘玉山’?‘錦繡山’은 그동안 ‘연약한/어린’, ‘안방’, ‘베개’, ‘남녀 애정의 형상’으로 해석해 왔다. 본고는 이 풀이에 대한 실증적 근거가 약하다는 점에 착안하여, 고려?조선의 여러 문헌에서 이 어휘들의 구체적 쓰임을 찾는데 주력했다. 그 결과, 제4연의 ‘아련’은 “비오리의 얼룩얼룩한 신체적 특징을 묘사한, ‘얼룩’[鵝漣]”, 5연의 ‘南山’은 “開京 인근의 子男山?龍峀山에 대한 지칭으로, 울창하고 신비로워 四方의 瑞氣가 모이는, 고려 皇都의 영원?무궁?안정?번성한 중심 공간”, ‘玉山’은 “풍류를 아는, 신비하고 맑고 귀한 풍채를 지닌, 高邁하고 秀麗한 남성”, ‘錦繡山’은 “대동강의 오른쪽 기슭에 위치하는 수려한 산으로”, “곱고 화려한 이불, 즉 임과 사랑을 나눌만한 환상적 공간”, ‘藥든 가?’은 “향내가 물씬 배인 가슴”으로 풀이하였다. <만전춘별사>는 격조와 품위를 갖춘 임을 항상 곁에다 두고 영원하고 안정된 사랑을 나누고 싶은 마음을 ‘현실적이고 구체적인 공간’설정에 의해 노래한 작품이다. 이들 어휘에 대한 어감에 따라, ‘이상적이고 비현실적인, 우주론적 공간’으로 풀이하는 것은 바람직하지 못하다.The existing study have interpreted 'Nam-san' 'Ok-san' and 'Keumsu-san' as the warmer part of an ondol room/Anbang/warm place, a pillow and bedspread respectively in connection with 'make a bed', 'rest one's head on', 'in bedspreads'. But these interpretations are hard to agree because they are lacking in an actual proof by using intuition. Especially, it's a great leap to interpret 'Keumsu-san' as the symbol produced by " the shape of bedspread by sexual intercourse is like a mountain".
This paper was focused on the concrete use of the above words through the records and prose collection in the Goryeo and Joseon Dynasty according to a hypothesis that they were widespread and universally valid poetic language.
As a result, I concluded that 'Nam-san' refers to 'Janam-san' or 'Yongsu-san' located in the center or the very south of Gaegyung, which is the permanent, eternal, stable and prosperous capital of Goryeo that is filled with the auspicious signs on every side because of its thick and mysterious forest.
'Ok-san' is the word that compares a tasteful, noble and handsome man's mysterious, clear and honorable appearance to the loftiness of a mountain. 'Keumsu-san', the beautiful mountain located in the right foot of the Dae Dong, means beautiful and colorful bedclothes or the fantastic space sharing love with a lover.
'Sahyang-kaksi' means a woman smelling like musk, 'brest in drug’ means the brest` socked with each other's scent. The reason why in the words of the fifth verse in 'Manjonchun-b?lsa's 'Nam-san' was established as the space for love is to want to always put a lover beside her and share stable and permanent love, and the reason that compared a male speaker, the counterpart of love to 'Ok-san' is to consider enhancing lover's refinement and dignity.
The reason comparing sleep together to 'Keumsu-san' is to reflect the mind expecting gorgeous reunion fitting for pathetic waiting and that referring herself to 'Sahyang-kaksi' is to include the intention of prepared meeting and emphasizing the speaker's fluttering for meeting.
I came to realize that the words of the fifth verse in 'Manjonchun-b?lsa' represented the female speaker's realistic desire expecting concrete love affair with a lover not by establishing ideal and unrealistic universal space but by establishing realistic and concrete one.
Therefore, it's hard to understand that they included unrealistic and mythological ideal or expressed the hope of putting the new center of a nation or Dynasty and extending its longevity.
