Recent advances in media technology and changes in consumer lifestyles, one-person media emerges as a potential marketing tool in various organizationsand industries. It is time for applying a strategic approach based on an in-depth understanding of the characteristics and acceptance of marketing using one-person media. This study, based on Laswell's SMCRE model of communication, tested the effect of creators (attractiveness, expertise, trustworthiness, similarity), contents (interactivity, enjoyment, usefulness) characteristics of one-person media on intention to contents acceptance, mediated by parasocial interactions. As a result of the study, first, attractiveness,similarity, enjoyment, usefulness, and parasocial interaction had a positive and direct effect on intention to contents acceptance. Second, attractiveness, trustworthiness, similarity, enjoyment, engagement, and interactivity had a positive effect on parasocial interactions. Third, attractiveness, trustworthiness, similarity, enjoyment, engagement, and interactivity was found to have an indirect effect on intention to contents acceptance through parasocial interaction. Based on these results, the theoretical and practical implications of this study and suggestions for future research were presented.
