A earthenware and tile kiln is a kiln for making earthenware and tiles together. However, due to the lack of research on the earthenware and tile kiln, the background of its appearance and its characteristics were not properly understood. Therefore, there is a wide variety of interpretations of the earthenware and tile kiln, which is why speculation is rampant. This Study intends to examine the background and characteristics of the operation of the earthenware and tile kiln.
The study consists of six chapters. Chapter 2 reviews the leading researchers and raises questions to establish the research method. Chapter 3 identifies the structure and characteristics of the earthenware and tile kiln. Chapter 4 compares and analyzes earthenware and tile kiln, earthenware kiln, and tile kiln based on the structure of the earthenware and tile kiln identified in Chapter 3. In addition, We get a grasp of the efficiency of the earthenware and tiles kiln by comparing products made by the earthenware and tile kiln, earthenware kiln, tile kiln. Chapter 5 identifies the location of the supply of earthenware and tile kiln and identifies the background of operation of the earthenware and tile kiln.
As a result of the study, the demand for tiles increased due to the formation of Silla royal with a 6C and the increase in Buddhist-related architecture. In order to meet the demand for increased tiles, the earthenware kiln became the beginning of the earthenware and tile kiln. It is estimated that the tile produced in this way was not much different from the tile produced in the tile kiln, so it is presumed that the earthenware and tile kiln continued to produce both jobs. However, the demand for tiles continued to increase after reunification. The earthenware and tile kiln is both working together, so the production is little. For that reason, It seems that the earthenware and tile kiln did not meet the demand for the tile. And as the number of tile kiln increased during this period, it is understood that the earthenware and tile kiln were gradually replaced by tile kiln. Under these circumstances, it is unreasonable to judge the earthenware and tile kiln as a transition period between the earthenware kiln and the tile kiln. Also earthenware and tile kiln could't be judged by the early forms of Silla tile kiln. Through this study, We hope to help in the interpretation of the earthenware and tile kiln to be excavated in the future.
