Most of the causes of machinery and structures are reported as fatigue failure. This has resulted in loss of life and property. In order to minimize these losses, it is important to accurately identify the fatigue life of the metal and reflect it in the design. The fatigue life of metal can be measured through a fatigue test, and most of the fatigue testers that measure the fatigue life occupy a large volume and have a high price, so it is difficult to construct in general universities and research institutes. In this paper, in order to improve this problem, a Krouse type small bending fatigue tester was designed and manufactured, and a test piece made of STS430 and PCM was manufactured, and fatigue life was obtained through the fatigue test. In order to understand the obtained fatigue life and the reliability of the Krouse type bending fatigue tester, the stress of the specimen was calculated, finite element analysis, and the stress on the obtained fatigue life were calculated and analyzed, and the reliability of the corresponding fatigue tester was examined.
