With the integration of the world economy, more and more companies are beginning to export to foreign countries. Since the Japanese Shinkansen in 1964, the world has entered the era of high-speed railway. In particular, high-speed rail has the advantages of fast speed and high safety, more and more countries are paying attention to the construction of high-speed rail. According to the European Railway Industry Alliance, in the next few years, various countries are vigorously building railways. Therefore, access to railway construction rights in various countries will bring great economic income and increase international visibility.
China's high-speed rail construction has made significant progress in the 15 years since 2004, and the speed of high-speed rail has reached 380km/h. China has built railways in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morlock and other countries, but there are also many failure cases, so, finding out the competitiveness and shortcomings of China's high-speed rail exports has become a very important issue.
This study first analyzes the problems of China's high-speed rail by analyzing prior research and failure cases. Then find out the problems of China's high-speed rail industry. Then use Porter's diamond model to analyze the competitiveness of China's high-speed rail industry based on existing data. It is concluded that the competitiveness of China's high-speed rail is mainly in the three aspects of supporting industry, its own capabilities and the government. Supporting industry is mainly to provide cheap parts and rails for the high-speed rail industry and provide funding. The company's own conditions are mainly reflected in manpower, assets, technology, experience, and price. The role of government is to provide funding, policy and advocacy.
Finally, do a questionnaire survey to high-speed rail scholars, railway company members, and high-speed rail builders. And use ahp analysis to analyze the results of the questionnaire.
