This paper tries to examine the legitimacy and status of 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)'by revealing the characteristics of 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' methods and proving that 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)'have been pursued as a way of attaining enlightenment from ancient times to modern times. This paper direction is established in a way that focuses on the analysis of the prognosis of the zen master who have gained enlightenment and draw conclusions based on the fact that they have been continuously transferred and transferred along with the characteristics of each of the lines. It will also look at the historical origin and principles of 'Yoimbul zen(念佛禪)' and its history in the history of 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)in Korean Buddhism.

In Chapter III, we will look at the process of introducing Buddhism to Korean Buddhism, which had a direct and absolute influence over Buddhism. Since this paper aims to study the acceptance and development patterns of modern and present 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' in Korea, the study of 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' in Chinese Buddhism in this chapter only seeks to study the parts that are connected to modern and present Buddhism in Korea. It is intended to explain how to carry out the representative Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' of ancient China, where 'Youmbul zen (念佛禪)' began to be adopted as China's method of performance, and how to carry out the 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' represented among modern Chinese 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' in order to highlight more the characteristics and originality of modern Korean Buddhism.
In chapter IV, we will follow the study of 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)', which was presented as a method of performance in modern Chinese Buddhism in the previous chapter, and before we can identify the characteristics of modern Korean Buddhism, we will first look at the features of zen master, which advocated 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' in Goguryeo and Silla during the Three Kingdoms Period. It will also examine how to the 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)', which was popular during the modern Joseon Dynasty, was transformed to establish the 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' identity of this era by overcoming ancient 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)' thought. It is intended to understand the general trend of the performance methodology through the method of performing them, which are developed from a static perspective and formed by the relative prominence of the Jeongto religion that goes beyond the modern era.
Chapter VI attempts to examine the characteristics represented by modern Buddhist scriptures by analyzing the characteristics of 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪), in society, which could be said as an opportunity to gain public attention again and become more popular, after being fully supported by modern Korean Buddhism. By studying and analyzing the originality and characteristic ways of carrying out the Youmbul zen(念佛禪)', which many attendants and researchers have been interested in since then, the development of Youmbul zen through the direction in which the practice of Youmbul zen is moving forward in modern Buddhism, and thus will be the foundation for establishing 'Youmbul zen(念佛禪)'.
