The purpose of this study is to classify foreign students' eating habits and eating out behaviors to derive purchasing behaviors and to understand the difference of eating habits behavior according to the dietary habits of foreigners and their lifestyle characteristics. And suggests purchasing behavior. The results of this study are as follows.
First, as a result of examining the effect of eating habits lifestyle on individual decision factors of eating out behavior, only one of four factors of eating habits lifestyle has positive influence on individual decision factors. And safety orientation, taste orientation, and economic orientation were not affected. The fact that health orientations alone seem to be influenced by foreign students' preference for a diet that emphasizes health instead of minimal expense in terms of living because living expenses are not sufficient for living in Korea.
Second, the effects of eating habits on the social determinants of eating out behaviors were examined. Among the four factors of food habits, taste orientation and health orientation were found to have a significant effect on social determinants. Oriented and economic orientation did not have any effect. Among them, taste orientation was the most influential. The reason is that I am studying abroad for a small cost of studying abroad, but I have been enjoying some Korean life while visiting the taste house of Korea which I have already become accustomed to while influencing Korean culture and adapting to Korean life.
Third, as a result of examining the effect of eating habits lifestyle on social determinants of eating habits, all four factors of eating habits have significant influence on psychological determinants of eating habits behavior, And safety orientation was the most influential factor. The reason for this is that they prefer psychologically safe food rather than personal or social determinants in eating habits in Korea.
Fourth, as a result of examining the effects of eating out behaviors of foreign students on purchase behavior, all three factors of eating out consumption behavior showed significant influence on purchase behavior and psychological determinants had more influence appear. The reason for this is that the meaning of each food consumption behavior varies from person to person. However, in food consumption behavior, the food that the consumer pays directly for the service and the incidentally obtained by it, for example, the kindness according to the situation of the employee, The location, the interior, and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
The results of this study indicate that the interest and legitimacy of foreign students' eating habits can be linked to purchase behavior if they are satisfied with the level of satisfaction. Also, it can be seen that, in case of the service where the contact point between the service provider and the international student occurs, the psychological factors perceived by the students can lead to the purchase path.
In this study, we studied food lifestyle, eating out consumption behaviors, and purchasing behaviors of foreign students living in Korea, especially Vietnamese students. In addition, while the effects of lifestyle on consumption behavior on previous studies were adopted in many studies, the limitations of differentiating factor extraction were seen in this study. You need to try.
First, in the previous research on foreign students' eating habits, the relationship between the lifestyle of foreign students, the consumption behavior of eating out, and the purchasing behavior was partially studied. It seems that there is a limit to generalization.
Second, in this study, cross - sectional studies were conducted for international students at Daegu - Gyeongbuk area universities, so that it is impossible to apply them according to the temporal flow. In order to overcome this point, longitudinal study to observe the survey subjects should be concurrently carried out, and methods for increasing the trust of the research should be sought to maintain the permanence of the data.
Third, it is a limitation of survey method which is the measurement tool of this study. This study mainly depended on survey method using questionnaires and did not adequately combine quantitative and qualitative methods. In order to compensate for this, it seems that the research method using financial data that can measure the actual customer satisfaction of the Korean restaurant should be concurrently performed.
Finally, in order to overcome the limitations of research, in-depth research or research is required, and the dietary lifestyle and eating out behaviors of foreign students are influenced by various parameters and control variables Broad research should be done. Therefore, it is expected that further research will be carried out that reflects the relevance of the scope and subject of the study to a wider range of other possible variables.
