The flow of the present Christianity is considered as a necessary tool for a missionary expert to cover the cultural gap. Missionary expert includes medical mission, educational mission and sports mission. It also includes fields like IT which is superior globally and in Korean culinary arts and Taekwondo. Global sports festivals presently, are being exercised regardless of the season and they are being exercised to enhance the people's health. Sports is being enjoyed globally which can be an easy tool to spread the Good News.
Taekwondo is a tool used in missions since it brings harmony to different races, languages, religions and socio-political aspects as well. Taekwondo brings accessibility to '10/40' non-evangelized regions by transcending race, literature, religion and ideology.
The researcher finds that firstly, an individual's devotion is devoutly necessary and secondly, power program is a must as well. Thirdly, multiplication breeding, which is used by Jesus to produce influential missionaries to serve the nation and the world, would be the base to spread the Good News in the Republic of South Sudan.
The alternative mission in the 21st century suggests expert missionaries to widen their perspective to overcome the wall separated by culture and by geographic limitations.
Firstly, the objective is to understand the Sudan literature and the ideology of the Islam which conquers the country is necessary to make plans on the independent mission.
Second objective is to make up with a specific Taekwondo program which will provide an easy way for the missionaries to enter countries which limit missionaries to supply Taekwondo which would be used as a tool to spread the Good News.
Lastly, Taekwondo missionary should be able to link with their living if Taekwondo could be used as a tool in the site and provide an effective mission strategy.
The scope of the study is as follows:
Chapter 1 is an introduction which states the reason why expert missions are necessary, in which Taekwondo would be specifically studied. The motive and objective, research methodology would be stated as well.
Chapter 2 will be opened by stating the Sudan's current societal situation and consciousness structure of the Islam which is dominant. Historical issues like conflicts and independence and current issues are stated as well.
Chapter 3 shows the current status quo of the sports being used to bring harmony globally. The background and the value, limitations and supplementation of the Taekwondo, which is a Korean specialty, would be studied.
Chapter 4 studies about the Sudan and African countries' case of Taekwondo mission and the accessibility of Taekwondo to the countries to find out the strengths and connectivity why Taekwondo mission would succeed in the Republic of South Sudan.
Chapter 5 is the conclusion part which will explain why Taekwondo mission is used as a strategy in this generation, the 21stcentury. Ways on breaking cultural walls in the mission site and the efforts and preparation necessary are included as well.
Korea in the past is divided by dominant countries and is divided until now geographically and ideologically. In this instance, the Republic of South Sudan is similar, with two civil wars and conflict between the religions. The researcher can understand the pain they are experiencing.
The researcher tries to use Taekwondo as a representative tool of expert mission in Sudan and the Rainbow Village would be a natural way to evangelize the citizens. The village would be the center of the power program and is expected to spread throughout Sudan in the future to spread the Good News.
thank you.
