There are lots ofdifficulties in managementbecause ofthe fierce competition of golf business in Gangwon-do and limitation of golf tourists. Therefore, it's requested to seek measures to accomplish administrative effectiveness of golf business through the connection between MICE industry and golf business.
The purposes of this research are to try to analyze from angles of golf industry's administrative effectiveness and management strategy, strengthen competitiveness of golf course and improve administrative results.
As measures to strengthen competitiveness for increasing golf tourists in Gangwon area, medium and low price products and relative products must be developed so as to increase golf tourists and various entrance fees by using time and user class must be set and discounting system must be introduced so as to expand golf demands. And, revisit can be induced by providing differentiated service by consumer characteristics, unnecessary costs can be reduced by making an effort to reduce raw price and secure price competitiveness and price competitiveness can be secured and strengthened by increasing the degree ofintensity. Those measures were suggested in this research.
As practical measures of common marketing by connecting golf course of Gangwon-do and MICE industrial connection, those measures were to expand connection of golf courses located in Gangwon-do, consider development of 2-3 golf course rounding product, etc. by connecting with surrounding golf courses for golf tourists staying for more than 1 night and 2 days, develop relative product connected by the region for drawing golf tourists and sell package products after MOU conclusion with resort.
Synergy effects by connecting golfbusiness of Gangwon area and MICE business can be expected. Through the cooperation of two businesses, inducement of domestic and overseas main conference and convention industry can make a positive effect on increase of competitiveness ofgolfbusiness in Gangwon area and managementof golf business.
The purposes of this research are to vitalize golf business in Gangwon area and strengthen the competitiveness as "a study on vitalization strategy of golf business in Gangwon area through the connection with MICE business".Ithas a background that MICE is cultivated as the current core industry of Gangwon-do, so this research intendstostrengthen competitivenessofgolfbusinessin Gangwon area by connecting it and promote the development of golf business in Gangwon area from anangle of strategy.
This research examined and analyzed by focusing on precedent researches and for precedent researches, marketing, competitiveness strengthening, strategy, etc. of golf business were examined and precedent researches of MICE business were analyzed. In addition, it intended to examine current state of MICE business and golf business in Gangwon area, seek measures to connect golf business and MICE business in Gangwon area and suggest measures of relative strategy for them.
The limitation of this research can be that an analysis of effectiveness among the golf business, resort business and MICE business cannot be suggested.
