This study manufactured beam-slab beam with reinforced concrete, conducted flexural and shear reinforcement according to kinds of reinforcement and position, examined the reinforcement effect and obtained the following conclusions.
1) Increase of flexural strength by reinforcements was higher in strengthening specimen than in standard specimen. CFS strengthening specimen was 29.2% higher than standard specimen, GFS strengthening specimen 34.8% higher than standard specimen, CB strengthening specimen 29.8% higher than standard specimen, and SP strengthening specimen 25.6% higher than standard specimen. It is thought that GFS strengthening specimen showed higher increase of strength than other reinforcements and it will be desirable to use it as flexural reinforcement.
2) Strengthening specimen was destroyed on the platform by the delamination of reinforcement and reinforcement of the platform is needed.
3) Ductility of strengthening specimen was lower than standard specimen due to flexural strengthening in all strengthening specimens. CFS strengthening specimen was 73.8% lower than standard specimen, GFS strengthening specimen was 66.9% lower than standard specimen, CB strengthening specimen was 80.2% lower than standard specimen, and SP strengthening specimen was 27.6% lower than standard specimen.
4) In the rigidity of strengthening specimen, all flexural strengthening specimens showed higher initial rigidity than standard specimen, SP strengthening specimen of reinforcements was highest in initial rigidity as 231% and in plastic region rigidity as 165%. It is found that it was caused by high tensile strength of reinforcements.
