The purpose of this research is to verify that the unified Korea is the decisive element to map out the military strategic plan that would balance and control the national security of the four biggest powers in Northeast Asia. After the Cold War, a new security environment has been built up on the Korean Peninsula. Once the unification is achieved, the Republic of Korea will have to face a new national security environmental issue with its surrounding countries and thus a new generation of military strategic plan will be required as the scientific technology development is growing.
For the last few decades, China has been distorting the Korean history by brainwashing Doreans descendants who are living in China without any knowledge about their cultures or tradition, and bringing on an issue about Dok Do Island at the same time. On the other side, stubborn Japanese government is still claiming possession of the Dok Do Island and often bringing on distorted Korean history. Furthermore, once unified with North Korea, Russia will come into contact with various types of national issues as well. Therefore, this research maps out the environmental issues surrounding three countries and America, without the assumption that U.S.A will always be Korea's companion in the future.
The researchers will take different ways to set up and establish role model of military strategic plan by writing books, issuing magazines or producing essays. Starting from there, they will pick the most adequate and relative information to choose the best scientific method to approach. There are numerous opinions about when the unification occurs, but this particular research assumes it will be after 2025 and it will be led gradually by R.O.K. The military strategic plan is dependent on the national security environment and composing factors. If one of them cannot support and work well then it will remain as incomplete task. Therefore, being unified has to provide meanings that Korean Peninsula doesn't undergo and repeat its national stagnation under other northeast Asian countries as they had in the past and will carry a responsibility to balance and control with their sovereignty and identity.
This research may only concern with theory about the military strategic plan but virtually it takes eastern, western and surrounding powers' periodical changes on military strategic plan to set up and investigate on their own. Finally, more researches are required on the effective factors that are important on the military strategic plan such as nationalism, military tradition, political issues, social system, threats from enemy, mutual relationship with surrounding powers and so on.
