 The aim of this study is to design English Listening Instruction focused on verb using Animation OST in order to promote English listening ability and engage learner's interest. A verb plays an important role in sentence so this study used cloze-test. Cloze test is a method of teaching of listening which let learners fill a blank.

The students participated in this research were the 6th grade elementary school students in Youngtong-gu, Kyunggido.

This research has been conducted for total 25 students in 6th grade. They had 8 classes, each of which was a forty-minute class, twice a week, over a period of 4 weeks. 4 songs were used as a material, which is from the animation' Frozen'. The students attended two classes to master one song.

Before and after the experiment, I examined their interest on English listening and English class. Also, I examined their English listening ability through a pre- and post-test.

To help students understand, this study has used sentence ordering activity, word puzzle. Also whenever a song was finished, a cloze test for the song was conducted.

It showed the results of this study are as follows.

First, the learners who were given listening lessons through English Animation OST showed more interest toward English.

Second, the students who were given listening lessons with English Animation OST showed improvement on English ability. The average of the post-test was higher than that of the pre-test.

Third, listening discipline which is cloze test focusing on verb can be helpful to develop listening ability.

From the results of the above, English study using English Animation OST can improve learner's listening skill to learn English.
