As a company operating in the field of building material supply, Vinashin One-Member Limited Company cannot avoid difficulties in production and business activities due to the economic effects and the cycle of sector recession. These changes have affected the physical and spiritual life of the majority of officials and employees; the working enthusiasm is impaired the psychology of leaving rises etc. So finding a way to stabilize the psychology, enhance the enthusiasm and dedication of officials and employees and keep the talent attached with company in the difficult stage and overcome the crisis is the concern of the company leadership.
The purpose of this study was to determine factors affecting working motivations for staff and employees and measure the level of influence of the factors to working motivation in Vinashin One-Member Limited Company.
After literature review, a questionnaire-based method was used to collect data to test the hypotheses. Data were collected from a convenient sampling of 220 employees in Vinashin One-Member Limited Company.
Statistic packages of SPSS version 20.0 was used to test the hypotheses of the study. The results of this study, extracted through the analysis showed that: Working conditions was the factor that most affected working motivations for staff and employees in Vinashin One-Member Limited Company.
Implications for academics and industry were discussed. Afterwards, recommendations of the research were also proposed.
