This study investigates the differences in the influence relationship between elements of the high-performance work system, job demands, resources, and turnover intention according to job positions(F&B·Culinary). Developed survey was distributed to hotel employees who are working for F&B and Culinary department at five-star hotels. For statistical analysis, frequency analysis was conducted using SPSS/WIN 23.0 and AMOS 21.0 statistical package programs to identify the general and demographic characteristics of respondents, and reliability analysis was performed to verify the validity and reliability of each component. In addition, AMOS 21.0 was used to verify the influence relationship among factors. It was found that there was a significant difference between the food and beverage department and the culinary department in the influence relationship between resources, job resources, and turnover intention. Specifically, this study found statistically significant differences in the influence relationship between motivation (M) factors and opportunity (O) factors in the high-performance work system and job demands, and in the influence relationship between motivation (M) factors and job resources. In addition, current study found that there was a statistically difference in the relationship between job resources and turnover intention. These results derived more detailed and specific implications as a way to reduce turnover and increase productivity in the hotel industry that the human resources are critical element for the successful business.
