Recently, hotel reservation mobile application market and technology are continuously developing. In addition, the reservation rate of hotel rooms using mobile applications is also increasing. The MZ generation is a digital native and a strong consumer of the hotel industry. We would like to analyze the selection attributes of the hotel reservation mobile application service for the MZ generation. Online survey was conducted on the MZ generation who used mobile application to make hotel reservation and 272 validated responses were analyzed to examine. To confirm selection attributes of hotel reservation mobile application service, 25 items were sorted into 5 factors(economy, information, safety, convenience, and communication). This study used the IPA analysis. Although the traditional IPA is a very useful method that is simple and easy, traditional IPA have been previously pointed out. Therefore, this study used traditional IPA & revised IPA method. There was a different result depending on the analysis results. Therefore, more discussion on developing reasonable research directionality through various approaches is required.
