This study identifies the effects of each factor of occupational values on major satisfaction of college students majoring in aviation, hotel, and tourism, and tested whether grit has a moderating effect on the relationship. First, the study analyzed the effect of occupational values on major satisfaction of college students majoring in aviation, hotel, and tourism. It was determined that both intrinsic and extrinsic values, sub factors of occupational values, positively influenced major satisfaction, thus confirming acceptance of hypothesis 1.Second, when analyzing the effect of occupational values on grit among university students majoring in aviation, hotel, and tourism, the study found that both intrinsic and extrinsic values, as sub-factors of occupational values, had a significantly positive effect on grit. Therefore, hypothesis 2 of this study was accepted. Thirdly, Hypothesis 3 was accepted, which suggests whether grit has a moderating effect on the relationship. between career values and major satisfaction. Therefore, strategies and efforts should be made to increase vocational values and grit among university students majoring in aviation, hospitality, and tourism, as their major satisfaction affects their GPA. In conclusion, increasing grit will enhance the overall satisfaction, which refers to the sense of accomplishment derived from achieving a desired goal and successfully completing tasks. This enhanced satisfaction will enable aviation and hospitality majors to develop a positive perception and enthusiasm for any situation they encounter.
