The purpose of this study is to build a trade-off model and analyze the changes in ecosystem services occurring in the flood control area centered on Gunnam Dam and Hantan River Dam in Yeoncheon region, focusing on cultural services and supporting services. The results of the study showed that the ecosystem services in Yeoncheon region have a trade-off structure between cultural services centered on the tourism system and supporting services centered on quality of environment. Second, the number of tourists and tourism businesses in Yeoncheon region has increased continuously, but the trend has decreased or weakened since 2026. In addition, the quality of environment has deteriorated and the area of ecologically vulnerable areas has increased. The results of this study are significant in that they quantitatively predict the trade-off effect of support services that will be reduced due to the increase of cultural services, thereby enhancing the management and policy direction of Yeoncheon region, which focuses on the tourism system.
