This study focuses on Hagoromo Matsuri(羽衣まつり), to examine the sense of place in Mihonomatsubara(三保松原). Specifically, it investigates the inclusion of Mount Fuji aUNESCO World Heritage site and reexamines the connection between Mihonomatsubaraand Mount Fuji. It delves into the cultural uniqueness and distinctiveness ofMihonomatsubara which serves as the epicenter of the Hagoromo legend and intoMihonomatsubara’s status as a festival space. Hagoromo Matsuri is established byincorporating the natural, religious, and literary elements of the Mihonomatsubara region, and serves as a noteworthy example of utilizing the history and cultural characteristicsof region as local cultural content. The newly created Matsuri contributes to enhancingthe allure and uniqueness of the region and is expected to promote cultural andeconomic revitalization.
本稿は、「羽衣まつり」に着目し、三保松原の場所性について考察したものである。具体的には、富士山の世界遺産登録の背景を明らかにしながら、構成資産である三保松原遺跡と富士山との関連について再考した。さらに、羽衣伝説の中心地である三保松原の文化的特徴を考察し、祭り空間の形成と活用の様相について論じた。羽衣まつりは、三保松原の自然や宗教、文学的要素を反映しており、伝統の創造的な継承のための歴史·文化空間の活用事例として注目される。羽衣まつりは、地域の資産を地域文化コンテンツとして活用する適切な事例であり、このように新たに創造されるマツリは地域の魅力と個性を高める役割を果たし、文化と経済の活性化に貢献することが期待される。
