This study sought to examine the start-up and survival problems of the travel industry among tourism companies that have continued to grow quantitatively with the growth of the tourism industry along with changes in the urban space. With the growth of the tourism industry, the number of tourism businesses has soared, but the survival rate of new businesses is not high, and many companies are closing down. The results of this study are meaningful as a preemptive study that attempted to analyze discussions related to the creation and closure of tourism companies, which have been considered as problems in the management field, in connection with the location structure and space. It is also expected to contribute to helping start and settle new tourism companies and increasing the survival rate at a practical level. This study is an early study in the tourism field that analyzed changes in the location structure of the travel industry in urban spaces, focusing on creation and closure. The results of the study revealed the phenomena that are actually considered when starting a travel industry in relation to the entrance structure and will contribute to the healthy growth of the travel industry in the future.
