This study analyzes the optimal locations for additional installation of women's safety delivery boxes in Seoul. At first, four neighborhoods with the higher installation priority are selected based on Seoul's demographic and delivery-related data, including Yongshin-dong, Jamsil Bon-dong, Hwagok 1-dong, and Haengun-dong. Then, the optimal locations for each neighborhood are discovered and analyzed using the P-Median and Maximal Covering Location Problem(MCLP) algorithm based on realistic traveling distances and demand. The results show that the optimal locations change with respect to the algorithms and the number of additional boxes. Such findings can be utilized for making an optimal decision on women’s safe delivery box policy.
