This research attempts to explore the ways to expand the base of the golf population in that recently golf affinity groups have been decreasing. Particularly, as part of the academic circles’ efforts to induce continuous participation in diverse events of sports for all, researches on ego-resilience approach should also be performed in the golf event. These can be utilized as the information for inducing amateur golf enthusiasts to continuously participate in golf and, through this, can be utilized as basic data for vitalizing golf. So this research examined how the ego-resilience of golf enthusiasts influences exercise addiction and burnout. The results of this research showed that the ego-resilience of amateur golf enthusiasts influenced exercise addiction and behavior addiction and the cynicism of burnout, so in order to induce continuous participation of amateur golf enthusiasts in golf, the ego-resilience should be raised to reduce negative behavior addiction and cynicism. In other words, in order to induce continuous participation in golf affinity groups’ activities, psychological ways to boost the ego-resilience need to be explored. Particularly, since the efficiency of interpersonal relationships of the go-resilience acts as a relatively important variable, efforts need to be made to cultivate psychological characteristics of participators through continuous communication, praise, and encouragement so that amateur golf affinity groups’ people have positive thinking.
