In recent decades, the C4I system has been a crucial part of wars leading to victory. With this fact, Korea Military is also trying to develop the next generation network system, called TICN(Tactical Information Communication Network), to support the effects-based operations through the battlefield visualization. CNR(combat network radio) communication devices of TICN, such as TMMR(Tactical Multi-band Multi-role Radio) or TMFT(Tactical Multi Function Terminal), are supporting the Ad-Hoc network system to ensure the communication among moving small units. However, the CSMA/CA, which is MAC protocol used in TMMR, is having a problem that the nodes should share the given maximum data rate equivalently, which menas that the important data, such as operation orders or enemy information, might not be delivered at an appropriate time. In this paper, we review several existing methods to give nodes priorities to solve the problems mentioned above, then through simulation we make several fundamental observations about effective way of giving priority.
