The ability, quality and coaching level of coaches directly affect the development level of a country's competitive sports and the competitiveness of international sports. Therefore, sports developed countries attach great importance to the training of coaches, and have established a relatively complete coaching education system. After more than 50 years of practice and exploration, China has gradually formed a coach education system that is relatively independent of non-academic education and academic education. improve.
Using data collection methods and data description methods, this paper sorts out the development process of Chinese coaches from the two aspects of non-academic education and academic education, and deeply analyzes the current problems and deficiencies in the education of Chinese coaches. On the basis of the coaches' educational experience, the countermeasures to improve the Chinese coaches' education and sports are put forward.
First, reviewing the development process of coach education in China, it is found that coach education in China is mainly non-academic education, with job training as the core. This leads to the dual structure of non-academic education and academic education of coaches. In terms of non-academic education, there is a big difference in the degree of emphasis between grassroots and elite education. In terms of coaching education, there is a contradiction between the diversification of educational levels and the simplification of career paths.
Second, through the analysis of the current situation of coach education in China, it is found that there are two problems in coach education in my country: in the non-academic education of coaches, there are problems such as confusion in the responsibilities of job training institutions, urgent need to improve training methods, and singleness of assessment methods. In terms of academic education, there are problems such as vague positioning of training objectives in the professional direction, single enrollment method, one-sided assessment method, and low overall level of teachers. On the whole, the quality of coaching education in China needs to be improved. It is difficult to meet the society's demand for high-level coaches in terms of non-academic education for coaches. There is a certain gap with the requirements.
Third, through the analysis of the current situation of coach education in South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan, it is found that the characteristics of non-academic education of coaches in developed countries are reflected in the macro guidance provided by relevant government departments, and the specific implementation of sports industry associations or social organizations. The training content highlights professionalism, diversified training funding sources, diversified training methods, and emphasis on continuing education for coaches. The diversification of enrollment methods, the level and flexibility of the degree system, the combination of academic and professional aspects of curriculum design, the comprehensiveness of assessment, the combination of academic education and vocational qualification certification, etc.
Fourth, compare the coaching education between China and developed countries in terms of non-academic education and academic education, from which we can get the experience and enlightenment of coaching education in developed countries: equality and openness of coaching education, education The content highlights the development of the professional ability of coaches, the networking of coaching education, the integration of non-academic education and academic education for coaches, and the commonality of continuing education and coaching qualification re-accreditation.
