This study examined the factors that revitalize the labor-management committee using data from the Workplace Panel Survey (WPS2017) conducted by the Korea Labor Institute(KLI).
As a result of the study, the level of activation of the labor-management committee increased as the number of multiple unions increased. Second, the worker participation system is more active , the operation of the labor-management committee is revitalized. The employee participation included the implementation of a performance distribution system, education and training, and small group activities, which is consistent with previous studies that indicated the operation of the labor-management committee was revitalized. Third, the smoother the labor-management relations, the higher level of activation of the labor-management committee is appeared the labor-management relation is more smoother. Fourth, the uion organization rate is not significantly affect the activation of the labor-management committee. Lastly, when the above items were put in simultaneously, the degree of activation of the labor-management committee was the highest.
