This thesis is the rhetorical study of perfection in the epistle to the Hebrews. It includes the writer's modes of persuasion and dissuasion of the readers with his rhetoric. The perfection of Christian earth as the Son of Man, the death as the sacrificial offering to God and the resurrection as the assurance of Christians future glorification. Todays Christians are perfect by accessing to God through Christ's sacrificial death on the cross once for all, so that they could enter the throne of grace where the High Priest sits at the right of the Father.
The Levitical Priesthood who offered God the blood of bulls and goats was failed to bring the worshippers into perfection which Christ replaced by his own blood in the order of Melchizedek Priesthood who came from above without fleshly father or mother. We are under the process of perfecting as we walk with Christ, the time will come when God will restore us into complete perfection after the judgment of the Son of God. We are being perfected through our daily lessons in life by endurance, suffering for Christ which made us perfect to be like Christ.
While walldng with Christ we have a better covenant with God through the blood of Jesus which abides between God and us, so that any failure or sin or mistake or weaknesses cannot separate us from the love of the LORD, since Jesus Himself was tested and He knows how to helps us. The epistle to the Hebrews sums up the OT practices and the NT faith and it is perfectly arranged that pictured the whole Bible into Christ Central doctrine. Without knowing and learning Hebrews it would be difficult to understand and grasp the full meaning of new covenant in Christ Jesus which only leads Christians into Perfection.
